Head
Coach - Shane Hallmark
- Coach Hallmark
begins his fifteenth year in coaching and joins Klein High School after
five very successful years as the Defensive Coordinator, and then, Head
Coach at Hightower High School. This will be his first year at Klein. He
has a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and has worked toward a
master’s degree from Lamar University. While coaching at Hightower, he
was awarded the 2008-2009 District 23 5A Coach of the Year Award, as
well as the 2008 Touchdown Club of Houston Coach of the Year.
Coach Hallmark’s wife, Denise, also teaches and coaches for Klein ISD.
They have twin three year old boys named Jimmy and John. He is
originally from Flint Texas where he attended Robert E. Lee High School.
Coach is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys any opportunity to spend time
with his family.
His goal for the Bearkats, “Win a State Championship.”

Billy Anderson
Assiatant Head Football CoachCoach
Anderson begins his twenty-first year of coaching. He has coached at Klein
Forest and Cypress Ranch. This will be his first year at Klein High School.
He has a bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin and a master’s degree
from Prairie View A&M.
He has been married eighteen years to wife Carol. They have two children,
16 year old Lindsey who attends Klein, and 13 year old Will who attends
Doerre. |
Coach Freddie Maynard
Offensive CoordinatorCoach Freddie Maynard obtained his bachelor’s
degree from Southwest Texas State University. He has been coaching for
twelve years, with his most recent experience at Hightower High School as
the Passing Game Coordinator. This will be his first year at Klein High
School. Prior to his coaching experience, he worked five years with the
Texas Department of Criminal Justice as a prison guard and four years with
the Federal Bureau of Prisons as a prison guard.
Coach Maynard is originally from Trinity, TX. He and his beautiful wife,
Dianna, have been married for sixteen years. They have three daughters:
Kristin 19, Leah 7, and Brooke 5. |
Coach Micah Davis
Defensive CoordinatorCoach Micah Davis has a bachelor’s degree from the
University of Southern Mississippi. He is entering his fourteenth year of
coaching. This will be his first year at Klein High School. He spent the
last five years as the Defensive Coordinator at College Park High School.
Coach Davis and his wife, Clancy, have been married for eleven years. They
have two children:
Adam 6, and Kelly 2. His favorite pastime is playing golf. When coach was in
college he narrowed down his major between accounting and coaching. Coach
says, “ I’ve never regretted my decision.”
His goal for the Bearkats, “To compete in every game and to make the
playoffs.” |

Coach
Tony Suarez
Varsity FootballCoach Suarez has a bachelor’s degree from Sam
Houston State University and a master’s degree from Prairie View A&M
University. He is certified to teach Biology and Physical Education. Coach
Suarez has twenty-five years of coaching experience and is beginning his
eighth year at Klein ISD. Along with football, Coach Suarez coaches
baseball.
He has two children. Son, Andy is a freshman at UTSA and daughter Natalie is
a sophomore at Cy Woods. Coach loves to ride motorcycles and eat Blue Bell
Ice Cream.
His goal for the Bearkats this year, “Win district and have a deep and
successful run in the playoffs.” |

Scott Yates
Varsity Football
Coach Yates has a bachelor’s degree from San Angelo
State University and has a total of twenty- nine years of coaching
experience. He has coached for Klein ISD for twenty-eight years. He is
certified to teach History and Physical Education. He is also the Head Track
Coach.
Coach has two children, Brittany and Aaron. |
Coach
Joel Reichling
Varsity FootballCoach Reichling has a
bachelor’s degree from Trinity University. He has been coaching at Klein
High School for ten years. He is also a Klein High graduate and played
football and baseball for the Bearkats. He is certified to teach Physical
education and Composite Social studies. He also coaches the Klein baseball
team.
He and his wife, Sarah, have three daughters, Anna and Abby, and Ashley. |

Coach Juan Ceballos
Varsity FootballCoach Ceballos has a bachelor’s degree from
University of Houston and his master’s degree from Lamar University. He
is entering his fourth year of teaching and coaching all at Klein High.
Along with football, Coach teaches Spanish and will be coaching track
and basketball.
Coach and Sarah, his lovely wife of twelve years, have a two year old
son, Aaron, and another child on the way. He has musical talent and
plays bass and drums. He also loves his wife’s enchiladas fresh out of
the oven.
This year, for the Bearkats, “Our coaches and our players don’t expect
anything less than a state championship.”

Coach Barry Smith
Freshmen FootballCoach Smith has a bachelor’s degree from Texas A &
M University. Along with being the Head Freshman Football Coach, he is the
Head Baseball Coach. He has twenty-three years of coaching experience, all
of that at Klein High School.
Coach Smith and his wife, Phyllis, have four sons, Andrew, Adam, Aaron and
Alex. |
Coach Dan Davidson
Freshmen Football Coach Davidson is starting his fourth year at Klein
High School. He coaches both basketball and football. He has a bachelor’s
degree from Oklahoma Baptist University and a Master’s degree from the
University of Houston. Along with coaching, he is certified in and teaches
Spanish. |
Coach Tyrone Thompson
Freshmen FootballCoach Thompson will begin his first year at Klein
High School, but has ten years of coaching experience. He has coached at
Kleb for the last six years. He has a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M
University. While attending A&M, Coach was a member of the Big 12
Championship Football Team in 1998 and Big 12 South Champions in 1997.
He grew up in the KISD area and graduated from
Klein Oak High School. Coach’s wife, Amy, is the JV Cheer Sponsor at KHS.
They have four children, JP, Tyson, Tiana, and Jason. |

- Trainer; Christina has a Bachelors Degree in Sports Medicine from Baylor University and is licensed by the State of Texas. This is Christina's
3rd year at Klein High School. |

Langston - Equipment Manager. What would we do without Mac? He has
been with Klein over 22 years keeping the gear in top shape. |
