Awards/Achievements - 2008 - 2009 District 23 5A Coach of the year,  2008 Houston Texas Coach of the Week,  2008 Houston Texas Coach of the year Finalist,  2008 Texas 5A Co-Coach of the Year,  2008 Touchdown Club of Houston Coach of the Year,  32-6 Overall record as a Head Coach with a 7-3 playoff record, 2008 Texas Div. 5A State Runner-Up.
Years Coaching/Where - Beginning his 16th year in coaching,  4 years at Wunderlich Int. two years as campus coordinator,  5 years at Klein Forest as Head Freshman, Varsity secondary and Special Teams Coordinator,  5 Years at FB Hightower as Defensive Coordinator and Head Coach,  1 year at Klein High School as Head Coach.
Goals For The Team - Win a state championship and produce well rounded young men who leave Klein High ready for the challenges that lie ahead.
Family and Interests - Coach Hallmark is married to the former Denise Procell who has been a teacher/coach in Klein ISD for 13 years. They have twin 4 year old boys whose names are Jimmy and John. Coach Hallmark is originally from Flint Texas where he attended Tyler Robert E Lee High School. Coach is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys any opportunity to spend time with his family.

Coach Billy Anderson

First Assistant Football Coach

Education - Bachelors degree from Steven F. Austin State University in 1986, Master's degree from Prairie View A & M in 2004.
Years Coaching - Assistant Coach at Wunderlich Intermediate 1989 - 1994,  Freshman coach at Klein Forest High School 1995-1996, Head Coach at Klein Interrmediate from 1997-1998, Wide receivers coach at Klein Forest from 1999-2003, Offensive coordinator and First Assistant at Klein Forest from 2004-2008, Offensive Coordinator and First Assistant at Cypress Ranch from 2008-2009, First Assistant at Klein High from 2010-Present.
Goals For The Team - Win a state championship
Family and Interests - Married for 19 years to wife, Carol. They have two children, Lindsey is 17, a senior at Klein High, and son,Will is 14. They are members of Spring Woods UMC. The favorite vacation sites are the beach followed by the mountains of Colorado. We are all looking forward to another year of great Klein football.


Coach Freddie Maynard

Education - Bachelor of Excercise and Sports Science from Southwest Texas State University
Awards/Achievements - Magna Cum Laude
Years Coaching - 2 years at Hightower, 6 Years at Klein Forest, 1 year at Pasadena Sam Rayburn High School, 2 years at Creeks Middle School.
Goals For The Team - Play with passion and spirit to the best of their abilities.
Family and Interests - Wife Dianna, Kids Kristen 20, Leah 9, Brooke 7


Coach Tony Suarez

Coach Suarez has a bachelor’s degree from Sam Houston State University and a master’s degree from Prairie View A&M University. He is certified to teach Biology and Physical Education. Coach Suarez has twenty-five years of coaching experience and is beginning his eighth year at Klein ISD. Along with football, Coach Suarez coaches baseball.
He has two children. Son, Andy is a freshman at UTSA and daughter Natalie is a sophomore at Cy Woods. Coach loves to ride motorcycles and eat Blue Bell Ice Cream.
His goal for the Bearkats this year, “Win district and have a deep and successful run in the playoffs.”


Coach Scott Yates

Education - Bachelors of Science from San Angelo State University
Years Coaching - This will be my 32nd year of coaching. 32 years at Klein High School, 4 years at Kingwood High School, 1 year at Waco Robinson, and 1 year at Bruceville-Eddy High school.
Goals For The Team - My goal for the team never changes - Make the playoffs. Once you're in the playoffs you NEVER know how far you will go.
Family and Interests - I just got married this past summer to my beautiful wife Cindy! We have 4 kids between us, Brittany 26 and Aaron 22 are my kids. Whitney Nissan is 24 and Dakota Aplanalp 15 are Cindy's kids. We are just one big happy family!!! We all love the outdoors where we hunt, fish, camp, and vacation.


Coach Juan Ceballos

Education - B.S. Interdisciplinary Studies - University of Houston Downtown,   M Ed. Administration - Lamar University
Years Coaching - Entering 5th year at Klein High School
Goals For The Team - Have Thanksgiving dinner with the team, play 16 games and win the last one.
Family and Interests -2 boys, Aaron -3 in Sept. 2011,  Adan 1 in Nov. 2011.  Spouse: Sarah ( Wife of 13 years ).  Play Bass and drums in my church band.  Coach Suarez and I update favorite Blue Bell flavors twice a year.

 


Coach Joel Reichling

Education - Bachelors Degree in History fro Trinity University 1999,  and Masters in Education from Trinity University.
Awards/Achievements - Captain of Trinity baseball team in 1999. All conference in baseball and football - 1998, 1999
Years Coaching - San Antonio Lee High - 1999-2001, and Klein High School 2001-present.
Family and Interests -My wife's name is Sarah and we have 3 daughters: Anna (6), Abigail (4), and Ashley (1). Off-season intersts are spending as much time as possible with my family. I also enjoy traveling, camping, and backpacking.


Coach Barry Smith

Education - BS Texas A&M University. Attended on a baseball scholarship.
Awards/Achievements - I believe it is a great honor to coach and teach at Klein High School. I have been blessed with the opportunity to coach many great athletes, coach my own sons, meet many supporters of Klein Athletics and coach in many memorable games. The memories of those experiences are special to me.
Years Coaching - 24 years - All at Klein High School.
Goals For The Team - (1.) To prepare a foundation for the freshman football players so they understand the offense, defense and special team fundamentals and expectations so Klein Bearkat Football is successful on the varsity level.  (2.) To make the young men understand and appreciate the value of working hard in the classroom and on the athletic field. (3.) To make the young men know the importance of being part of a team and doing their best to make the team successful.
Family and Interests - I have been married for 24 years to my wife, Phyllis. We have 4 sons that have all attended Klein High. Andrew, Adam, and Aaron are all attending Texas A&M University. Adam was recently drafted by the New York Yankees. Alex is currently a junior at Klein High. I enjoy coaching, watching sports and deer hunting.


Coach Dan Davidson

Education - BA Applied Ministry - Oklahoma Baptist University 12/96,  MA Spanish literature and Linguistics - University of Houston 05/09.
Awards/Achievements - All District Offensive Tackle - Heritage Hall 1990-91
Years Coaching - 7 Total years:  2005-06 Waller High School Girl's Basketball Varsity Assistant.  2006-07 Kleb Intermediate 7th grade Boys Basketball,  2007-present Klein Boys Basketball assistant JV/Freshman,  2008-present Freshman Football Offensive/Defensive Line.
Goals For The Team - The Varsity will make a title run.  The Freshman team Will: (A) Become better football players.  (B)Win District Titles.
Family and Interests - I'm single with no kids. I'm from Oklahoma City and have lived in the Spring/Klein area since 2002. I enjoy traveling and watching Sooner football/basketball and OKC Thunder basketball. I love movies and enjoy playing guitar as well.


Coach Johnny Golden

Education - Rice University 1993-1996,  Houston Baptisi 1996-1997,  Hardin-Simmons University 1997-2001,  2001 Graduate McMurry University
Awards/Achievments - Athletic Schaolarship (Football / Baseball) - Rice University,  All American Southwest Conference Selection 1998, 99, 2000, Team Captain 1998, 99, 2000, Teacher of the Year finalist at Dulles High School in 2006 - 2007
Coaching - South Houston Intermediate 2002-2003,  Dulles High School 2003-2007,  Alvin High School 2007-2008,  Tomball High School 2008-2009,  York Jr. High School 2009-2010,  Klein High School 2010-Present
Goals For The Team - Win a District Championship,  Make a run in the Playoffs,  Win a State Championship!!!
Family and Interests - One beautiful daughter - Makenzi Breck Golden,  Two playful dogs - Hoss & Sam,  I love the outdoors and spending time with my family,  My wife and I like to work Sports Camps and FCA events, Casey, Makenzi, and I love spending time at the pool or Gatti-Land whenever we get the chance.


Coach Tyrone Thompson

Education - Bachelors degree from Texas A&M University
Awards/ Achievements - Graduate of Klein Oak High School,  Football scholarship to Texas A&M University, Member of 1st Big 12 Championship team
Coaching - This will be my 11th year coaching and 2nd year at Klein High.
Family and Interests - Four Children, JP,  Tyson,  Tiana, and Jason.


Coach Mitch Daviss

Education - Bachelors Degree from University of Southern Mississippi
Awards/ Achievements - In High School coach Davis was an All-District linebacker for 3 years, First Team All-State linebacker, and a 2 year letterman at Mississippi College
Coaching - This is my 14th year coaching. I cooached at Angleton High School, Klein Forest, The Woodlands, College Park, And Klein
Goals For The Team - To be a top Houston area team
Family and Interests - Coach Davis and his wife, Clancy, have been married for 12 years. They have 2 children, Adam age 7, and Kelly age 3. He and his family are members of Faithbridge United Methodist Church where Coach Davis is on the parking team. During the off season, he loves to golf and his goal is to beat his father-in-law.


Coach Gary Jackson

Education - Bachelors  - University of Houston
Coaching - 36 years. Klein HS (29),  Bellaire HS (1),  Houston Sterling (1),  Pershing Jr. High (3),  Booker T. Washington HS (2).
Family and Interests - Married to his wife, Virginia. They have 2 sons, Gary and Danny. 1 granddaughter - Saylor. Favorite hobby is golf.

Christina Pope - Athletic Trainer

Education - Bachelors  of Science - Baylor University
Coaching - 6 Years -  Klein High School
Goals For The Team - I want student trainers to have positive experiences with helping others, develop strategies for working with others and be leaders in good sportsmanship.
Family and Interests  - My husbands name is Bryan. I enjoy rock climbing, reading, and dancing and singing to music in my office during down times.


Robert McFarland - Athletic Trainer

Education - Bachelors /Masters -  Texas A&M University Kingsville
Coaching - 1 yr at Ben Palito Blanco High School, 2 yrs Rivera Kaufer High School, 1 yr Corpus Christie Hammerheads - IFL
Family and Interests  - Wife's name is Sammi. I enjoy hunting, fishing, and Barbeque.

"Mac" Langston - Equipment Manager. What would we do without Mac? He has been with Klein over 22 years keeping the gear in top shape.
