Stan Labay- Head Football Coach -
Head Football Coach and Campus Athletic Director;  Coach Labay is starting his 5th year at Klein. He has a Bachelors and Masters Degree from Sam Houston State University. Stan and his wife, Carol, have two sons, Wade and Ryan.
 

Kent Hazen -

Freshmen Football - Strength and Conditioning; Kent has a Bachelor of Science Degree from West Texas State University. He is certified to teach History and Physical  Education. Kent has coached twenty-tfour years at Klein High
School. Kent and his wife, Teri, have two children, Jacob and Courtney.

Gary Jackson -

J.V. Football / Sophomore Basketball; Gary has a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Masters Degree from the University  of Houston He is certified to teach Political Science, Physical  Education, and Drivers Education. Gary has coached thirty- one years, seven years in Houston I.S.D. and the remaining  twenty-Six at Klein High School. Gary and his wife, Decca, have two children, Gary, Jr. and Danny.

Victor Sobotik

Varsity Football/ Assistant Soccer; Victor has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Baylor University and a Masters from Prarie View. He is certified to teach Physical Education.  Victor has thirty years of experience with twenty-nine years in Klein ISD. He has coached in the Spring Branch School District and was head coach at Doerre Intermediate.  Victor has a twenty-eight year old son and he and his wife, Jan,  have one son, Matt.

Scott Yates -

Varsity Football / Head Boys Track Coach; Scott has a  Bachelors of Science Degree from San Angelo State University and has twenty-six years coaching experience.  He has coached at Bruceville-Eddy I.S.D., Waco I.S.D., and and Humble I.S.D. Scott has coached for Klein I.S.D. for  twenty-six years and is certified to teach History and Physical Education. Scott and his wife, Kim, have two children, Brittany and Aaron.

Barry Smith -

J.V. Football / Head Baseball; Barry has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas A&M University. He is certified to teach History and Physical Education. Barry has coached 20 years, all of which have been at Klein High School. Barry and his wife, Phyllis, , have four sons, Andrew, Adam,  Aaron and Alex.

Joel Reichling

Varsity Football / Assistant Baseball; Joel has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Trinity University. He is certified to teach Physical Education and Composite Social Studies. This is Joel's 7th year with Klein ISD. He played football and baseball at Klein High School. Joel and his wife, Sarah have no children.

Craig Christel

 Varsity Football/Assistant Boys Track; Craig has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Sam Houston State University. He has 20 years coaching experience.  He is beginning his 5th year st Klein Craig and his wife,  Gretchen, have two children, Clint and Haley.

Herb Turks

JV Football / Herb has a Bachelor’s degree from North Texas State University. He has twenty-seven years of teaching experience with the last four years at Klein High School. He is certified to teach Social Studies  He and his wife, Bobby, have five children, Savannah, Austin, Cheyenne, Summer and Stone.
 

Craig Pursell

J.V. Football / Assistant Baseball; Craig has a Bachelor of Science Degree from East Stroudsburg State University.  He has 26 years coaching experience. Craig and his wife, Karen, have three grown children. 

Blake Davis

JV Football / Assistant Baseball
Blake has a Physical Education degree from Sam Houston University.
He is certified to teach Health and Physical Education. He is
is beginning his fifth year of teaching and his second year at Klein High School.
 

Tony Suarez 

Freshmen Football / Assistant Baseball; Tony has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Sam Houston State University and a Masters from Prarie View. He is certified to teach Biology and Physical Education. Tony has 22 coaching experience. He has coached at Klein High School for 5 years. Tony has one son.

Gabe Merrill 

Freshmen Football / Assistant Boys Track; Gabe has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Purdue University. This is Gabe's 5th year at Klein High School. Gabe and his wife,  Nicole, have one child, Olivia.
